Dawn is in production!!

I just got word back from the manufacturer today that Dawn is officially in production! 

The timeline I was given is that production will take "45-50 days". I was also informed that the manufacturing plant won't be closed down for Chinese New Year, so that's good.

As I get notable updates from the manufacturer, I'll be forwarding them along to you.

I'm really excited that this is finally coming together. Stay tuned for further announcements...

Update

I just got an email back from the manufacturer, and they wrote production of the game will begin "late November to early December".  They have everything they need from me.  I'll send out an update when the presses start rolling.

Update: Proof Files Are Good To Go

Update

I just got the latest proof files from the manufactures, and they're all set.  No discernible flaws or concerns.  The manufacturer now has everything they need to begin production!  In the next 24 hours, they should get back to me on when they can begin manufacturing.  I'll post that date when they message me.

Expect an update shortly.

Hi all!  A quick update.  I've been working this week with the manufacturer on some typos I found at the end of the rule book and some clarifications on the newly added win condition reference cards, and I was told they will have the final digital proof to me tomorrow.  Once that looks good they're going to send over a video of the finalized, production ready, product which I will share with you here once I have it.

I want every aspect of the rule book to be easy to understand, with no confusing text.  Some of the sample round counts were off, and I wanted to make sure players aren't tripped up by that.

I'll send out the video of the finished product as soon as they send it to me.

Update

Hi All!  I got back from Essen a few weeks ago, and it was a great trip!  I met with the manufacturers face to face, and we went over all the minor imperfections in the proof copy, or things I noticed could be better like a victory condition reference card which was just added,  and a few UX improvements. 

As of today, the manufacturer has all the files and feedback they need from me in order to move forward with making the game.  Hopefully we'll get the green light from them in the next few days that things are rolling and Dawn will be on the assembly line in the next few weeks!

We're getting close!  I appreciate your patience as I wait for significant milestones to give an update.  As soon as the manufacturer says we're all good I'll let you know that via an update, including their production ETA, then of course another update when the games are complete and shipping.

More good news ahead!!!!
